i'm going to need to | | approach larger donors and foundations individually. on top of the | | organization's substantive work and the development of its website, | | prostasia is going to take more than 25% of my time for the next little | | while. | | | | child protection is a challenging area to move into, but i remain | | convinced that prostasia brings an important and neglected approach to | | this topic. thankfully, its backers and advisors are as passionate about | | it as i am, and it has been gratifying to receive their support and | | admiration for the initiative that i am taking. although i'm also proud of | | the work that i've done at eff, there are a lot of people working on | | digital rights issues, but none specializing in its intersections with | | child protection. since child protection is truly the canary in the coal | | mine for digital rights, and for civil rights more broadly, this is a | | vital niche to fill for both communities. it also seems like it has the | | potential to take off;
